Eligibility:
In order to be eligible to play, each team must contain at
least on member who is either:
-- From Melrose
-- Or related to someone in Melrose |

Entry Fee:

$200 per team if paid by July 31. $250 if paid Aug lst or
after. Covers your green fees, cart & a food ticket.

| --Afternoon tee times will be determined on when we get your
entry fee--'first come-first served' basis. |
Proceeds:
All proceeds benefit Melrose Community Betterment |

Shotgun Start:
--
There will be two teams per hole
-- Teams can choose if they want to both play the hole at the same
time, or if they want to take turn playing each hole. |

Mulligans:
Each team can purchase 5 mulligan's for $20. Each player
gets one mulligan and the remaining mulligan can be used by a
player as designated by the team. NOTE: Not every team
member gets to hit when a person uses a mulligan - if they do,
then they each would have used their mulligans. In other
words, each team gets 5 free shots - 1 free shot per
person and 1 floater. |

Various Challenges:
-- Land your Ball in the 8 foot circle
-- Longest drive
-- Longest putt
-- Closest to the pin and more. |

Prizes:
-- Grand Prize - Official Melrose Open Green Jacket
-- Champion must be present to win the green jackets.
-- Various other prizes |

Winners
Must be present at the evening Awards Ceremony to be named
winners & receive their prize's). If winning team is not
present, their title & prize(s) will be forfeited and passed on
to the Team present with the next winning score. Written rules
available the day of the Melrose Open take precedent over any 'verbal'
communications. If a team does not follow those written rules,
then that team |

would not be in competition or eligible for awards. |
MELROSE
GREEN BLAZER WINNER CLUB
All members of the EXCLUSIVE
MELROSE GREEN BLAZER WINNERS CLUB are to bring and wear your
blazers during the Awards Ceremony and for group pictures for
the newspapers. The Green Blazer club will present the new
champions green blazers. |

No Refunds:
In case
the tournament should get rained out, it cannot be re-scheduled and
there will be no refunds. However, a card tournament and social will
be held instead. |
| Also, if a team cancels-they just donate their entry fee to
Melrose Betterment projects-as there are No Refunds-
because we must be assured there are adequate funds to cover the
Golf Open expenses. |
